Below is a collection of various presentations I have given and the slides to go with them. The slides are hosted on this website and were made using quarto and reveal.js. I personally love this method of making presentation slides - it looks professional and eye-catching, they’re easy to make (written in markdown) after some setup and they are highly portable (just share them with a link).
PhD Viva - Oct 2024
I included a presentation in my PhD thesis defence (viva). It was a slightly more visual way to start an otherwise highly verbal 3 hour discussion and I felt it helped me organise my thoughts across 4 years of study.
Physics PGR Conference - Sept 2023
A 15 minute presentation for the Cardiff Univeristy School of Physics and Astronomy Postgraduate Conference 2023. This presentation was great fun to make. In a department of astronomers, talking about the brain (my research) was something a bit different.
